John Forest Ogilvie, footballer
John Forest Ogilvie a Scottish footballer who played for Hibernian, Leicester City and Mansfield Town contracted COVID-19 at a care home in Leicester. He died on 2 May 2020, aged 91. He was survived by his wife Doreen, and two granddaughters.
Ogilvie worked as a joiner while playing junior football for Thorniewood United. He started his senior career when he joined Hibernian, and made his league debut in December 1948. He played for Hibs in their most successful era, as their "Famous Five" forward line won three Scottish league championships.
